Account & Data Deletion
You have full ownership and control over your account and financial tracking data. Delete everything instantly in the app, or request deletion by email.
Option 1: Instant in-app deletion (recommended)
- Open Time2IPO on your Android device.
- Go to the Profile tab (bottom-right navigation icon).
- Scroll to the Data Management & Privacy card.
- Tap Delete Account & Cloud Data.
- Confirm by tapping Delete Permanently.
What happens immediately
- All cloud records under your account in Firebase Firestore (Demat account profiles, planned IPOs, submitted applications, and activity history) are permanently deleted.
- Your Firebase Authentication record (uid, email, display name) is permanently deleted.
- All local data in the on-device Room SQLite database is wiped.
Option 2: Email request (if you uninstalled the app)
Email whoishimesh@gmail.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request — Time2IPO. Send it from, or include, the Google Account email you used to sign in.
Processing timeline: email requests are processed within 48 hours, and no later than 7 business days. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your Firebase Authentication profile and all Cloud Firestore documents have been permanently purged.
Data deleted vs. retained
Permanently deleted
- Google Sign-In / Firebase Authentication profile (name, email, user ID)
- All Cloud Firestore documents (accounts, planned_ipos, applications, activities, and user profile metadata)
- All local SQLite database entries (when triggered in-app)
Retained
None. Time2IPO does not retain any personal or portfolio data after deletion is complete.
